Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This is a plain-language summary of how Dry Codes works. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace any separate agreement you may have with us.
Introduction
These terms govern your use of Dry Codes. By using Dry Codes, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for your account and for the repositories you connect. Team accounts may have multiple members.
The service
Dry Codes indexes the repositories you connect and exposes search and duplication tools over an MCP endpoint. Semantic search and AI enrichment are available on paid (Pro and up) plans.
Your content and license
You retain all ownership of your code. You grant Dry Codes a limited license to fetch and index your connected repositories solely to provide the service. You represent that you have the right to index the repositories you connect.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- connect or index repositories you do not have the right to;
- attempt to access another account's private data;
- abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; or
- exceed your plan's limits.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Usage beyond your included allowances may draw on opt-in usage credits. You can cancel at any time. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Public repositories
Indexing a public repository makes its derived index available in the public corpus.
Intellectual property
The Dry Codes service, software, and brand are owned by Maximilian Nussbaumer. Your code remains yours.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Duplication and search results are heuristic and may be incomplete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maximilian Nussbaumer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Maximilian Nussbaumer.
The specific jurisdiction should be confirmed by the operator.
